Hello, if it’s Lionel Richie you’re looking for, don’t worry — he’s coming back for more. The iconic musician, who has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, will perform at Honolulu’s Neal S. Blaisdell Arena on Friday, January 25, 2019 and Saturday, January 26, 2019. After Richie’s Friday show sold out within the first two hours of Kamaʻāina pre-sale, he agreed to play a second show to the delight of eager Hawaiian fans. The two concerts will mark Richie’s first appearance in Hawaii in more than a decade.

Given Richie’s five-decade long record-breaking career, his All The Hits concert promises to be a night filled with one mega-hit after another. Featuring songs from his work as a solo artist and previous group The Commodores, the Alabama native is sure to bring back memories and get the crowd singing along to “Say You, Say Me,” “Hello,” “All Night Long,” “Endless Love,” “We Are The World,’ “Three Times a Lady”, “Easy”, and many more.

Concert promoter Rick Bartalini Presents is honoring Hawaii residents and military with an exclusive Kamaʻāina pre-sale so that they may purchase the best seats. Kamaʻāina can get early access to a maximum of eight tickets before they go on sale to mainland customers. Pre-sale is online and in-person at the Blaisdell Box Office. No password is required. For convenience and the best possible seats, Kamaʻāina are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online as lining up at the box office does not guarantee seats.

Tickets go on sale to the mainland starting Saturday, November 3 at 10:00 A.M.

Richie is undeniably part of the fabric of pop music. Along with Michael Jackson, he wrote one of the most important songs in pop history, “We Are The World,” for USA for Africa. This song alone has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide. He is also one of only two songwriters in history to have No. 1 records for nine consecutive years.

Richie is also a multiple-award winner, including an Oscar, a Golden Globe, four Grammy Awards, MusicCares Person of the Year (2016), and Kennedy Center Honoree (2017). In March 2018, Richie put his handprints and footprints in cement at the TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX in Hollywood. And, he recently received the Ivor Novello PRS for Music Special International Award.

Still going strong, in 2016, he began a Las Vegas residency, Lionel Richie—All the Hits, at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. One year later, he kicked off his All The Hits tour, selling out arenas worldwide with a set list of his brightest and best anthems. Most recently, he appeared as a judge on this season’s American Idol and will return next season. Variety referred to his approach on the ABC talent search as a televised autobiography, where the icon shares his incredible wealth of knowledge about music and music business.
