Get ready to party in the “Summertime,” Hawai’i! International superstars New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) are making their way “Step by Step” back to Hawai’i – for the first time in three decades! Fresh off their MixTape 2022 tour, the legendary group have enlisted their friends and very special guests TLC to join the party for two infectiously-fun, high-energy shows at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena on August 5 & 6, 2022.
As live music venues throw open their doors and live music returns to Hawai’i, NKOTB is excited to bring the party back. With their iconic international hit songs, explosive energy on stage, feel-good nostalgia, all-ages appeal, and plain old sense of fun, NKOTB promise to have the crowd at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena on their feet, singing and dancing the nights away.
Elated to perform for the people of Hawai’i once again, Donnie Wahlberg said: “We are so excited to finally be heading back to Hawai’i, as a group, after over 30 long years. So what better moment to ‘Bring Back The Time’ than now! We look forward to seeing our wonderful fans in Hawai’i and to once again experience the aloha spirit!”
Proving beyond any doubt that they’ve “still got the magic,” NKOTB released “Bring Back the Time,” on March 3, 2022. The single and accompanying video, which feature Salt-N-Pepa, Rick Astley and En Vogue, are joyful nostalgic odes to making memories and celebrating the very best of times. Get ready to experience that same high-energy fun LIVE at the Blaisdell Arena on August 5 & 6. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE
Concert promoter Rick Bartalini Presents (RBP) has been committed to getting the best seats at the best prices to the best events into the hands of Hawaii’s concertgoers for several years. To do that, the promoter offers geo-limited presales to residents who have a Hawai’i zip code on their credit card billing address. As with past concerts, RBP is offering an exclusive presale for Hawai’i residents to purchase NKOTB tickets. The presale will be geo-limited by the ticket-selling platform, which will automatically cross-check zip codes on the credit cards used to purchase tickets. Additionally, during the presale, ticket sale activity will be actively monitored to ensure that the presale is handled fairly for Hawai’i residents. If any out-of-state purchases slip through the platform, those tickets will be canceled and returned to the inventory for Hawai’i residents to purchase first.
The exclusive on-line only presale for Hawai’i residents goes on sale Saturday, April 9 at 10:00 a.m. HST. No password is required. Up to eight tickets may be purchased by one patron.
Tickets go on sale to the mainland starting Sunday, April 10 at 10:00 a.m. HST.
Mega-stars NKOTB, international phenoms who have sold more than 80 million albums world wide, and their special guests, the legendary TLC, the top-selling US girl group of all time, promise to wow the people of Hawai’i with shows packed full of chart-topping hits from their extensive catalogs. NKOTB is known for performing show-stopping fan-favorite #1 hits like “Hangin’ Tough,” “I’ll Be Loving You (Forever),” and “Step By Step.” TLC, influential game-changers in the world of R&B music, have had four of their spectacular singles reach #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100: “Creep”, “Waterfalls”, “No Scrubs”, and “Unpretty.”
About New Kids On The Block:
New Kids on the Block have sold more than 80 million albums worldwide – including back-to-back international #1 songs, 1988’s Hangin’ Tough and 1990’s Step By Step – and a series of crossover smash R&B, pop hits like “You Got It (The Right Stuff),” “Cover Girl”, “Didn’t I (Blow Your Mind This Time)”, “Hangin’ Tough”, “I’ll Be Loving You”, “Step By Step”, and “Tonight.” The group, which started with humble Boston beginnings, grew to shatter concert box office records, playing an estimated 200 concerts a year in sold-out stadiums around the world. Since reuniting in 2007, NKOTB have toured consistently to sold out arenas, have sold nearly 4 million tickets and have doubled their crowd sizes. The Boston natives have been bestowed with their very own, “New Kids on the Block Day,” and have been celebrated with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

TLC, with its original members Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, redefined the R&B genre in the 1990s and paved the way for many of music’s most influential women, including Beyoncé and Rihanna. Without Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, who passed away in 2002, T-Boz and Chilli continue to bring infectious fun to audiences by drawing on their legacy of four multi-platinum albums, album sales in excess of 65 million records, and nine top-ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100. Their 18-city Crazy Sexy Cool Tour in 2021 featured fan interaction, 90s fashion, and high-energy fun that made each show feel like a house party.
