About Diana Ross

With a career spanning over six decades it’s inconceivable to think Diana Ross has never performed a full-length concert in Hawaii. That’s all about to change as Ms. Ross brings her magical live stage production to The Islands. The concert is a complete theatrical experience, filled with breathtaking costumes, an elegant stage design, a blasting four-piece horn section and a massive catalog of hit songs, such as “Stop! In the Name of Love”, “Touch Me in the Morning”, and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.” Reviews have been stellar for her recent shows, proving that the icon of stage and screen is still in her prime. The Star-Telegram in Texas raves: “Diana Ross held the fortunate (audience)…in the palm of her hand from the beginning, and never let them go.” As the star herself has stated, “My interaction is with the audience on a one-to-one. I always try to see their faces and try to see their eyes. It’s that harmonious vibration, good energy that flows between the audience and myself and the band and the music. Music is like love. It feels good. It’s about sharing. Music is like the heartbeat of our world.”

Diana Ross has had a profound influence on pop culture all around the world. She’s an Academy Award-nominated actress for her unforgettable role as Billie Holiday in Lady Sings the Blues; a Tony and Golden Globe winner; a bestselling author; the winner of eight American Music Awards, as well as a Grammy Award for lifetime achievement; and a recipient of The Kennedy Center Honors. Her reputation as a woman of great style and beauty has landed her on the covers of hundreds of magazines. Ms. Ross has sold over 100 million records and recorded 18 #1 hits. Her music became the sound of young America in the ‘60s soon after she signed with Motown Records in 1961 with The Supremes. She embarked on her extraordinary solo career in 1970 and has not stopped since.

Diana Ross sings the soundtrack of our lives—a true musical treasure. You don’t want to miss this rare opportunity to see “The Female Entertainer of the Century” (as proclaimed by Billboard Magazine) when she performs her first concerts in Hawaii.
